an analysis of what is best for use on the Web, a Java applet or Flash movie . Personally I prefer Flash for the web, why?, Because it has many benefits including:

Flash disadvantages against Java?, Yes, and some very important
- Programming: Programming in Flash involves learning a new language (ActionScript). Besides the learning curve is somewhat steep.
- Integration: programming in Java can access many services offered by systems that may not be available online ( legacy systems). Although for Internet connection services in Flash has the advantage.
I think Flash has already proven to be the best choice for web content because who has not seen a banner in Flash at least 10 times a day? or who did not see a Flash video in the week?.
I recently came across Picnik, an online image editor which I think is pretty good, I was surprised that was programmed in Flash (and got me interested to learn ActionScript), I recommend it.
Nota Bene: 'm not against Java, is my "horse" battle for desktop applications. Although we'll see what can be done with Adobe Apollo .
